Precision Performance
The RCC7 is a multi-layered filter system that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, including arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, fluoride, lead, mercury, sodium, and more.
Tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI Standards, iSpring Greatwell Reverse Osmosis Membrane is made of food-grade high capacity material that provides high packing density to remove contaminants. With the 0.0001 micron size, it only allows water molecules to squeeze through and virtually nothing else.
The system consists of 5 different stages, each one designed to progressively remove contaminants and improve water quality:
Highlight Features

Reinforced Transparent 1st Stage Housing
Provides an easy way to visually inspect the sediment filter and view the contaminants being removed from your water. With the transparent housing you will know it is time for a filter change before a problem occurs.

Finest Micron, Layered Protection
The advantage of having both 5-micron GAC & CTO filters is that loose carbon (GAC, KDF) is better at trapping large contaminants, leaving only smaller ones to the CTO carbon block filter. This allows the CTO filter and RO membrane to function at their maximum efficiency and last longer.

Update:
Updating about 2 months after install. Still love this system, and as many people say, customer service is great. When testing, I let the water run about 30 seconds before testing and I am down to 9 ppm TDS. Impressive! Tap is 109 ppm. Water tastes great. Couple of more comments:
Tank pressure: I tested the tank pressure and so far it is fine at about 8 psi. I get a pretty good flow from the RO faucet. It's not jet-fast, but I think that's typical.
Water pressure: iSpring said that you need 45 psi pressure into the home for the system to operate properly. As tested with a Rain Bird gauge at two outside spigots, my pressure is about 43 psi, so I am 2 psi lower than the minimum. But I can't say I am noticing any problem. Anyway, I have no way to raise the pressure myself, other than installing a booster pump. I can't find any pressure regulator near the main supply. Maybe it's near the street (or non-existent?) But right now, I do not see the need for a pump. Maybe the tank would re-charge faster with higher water pressure, I'm not sure. But based on my usage so far, I have not run out of RO. I have always thought my overall water pressure was a bit low, but not horrible. Maybe 50 would be ideal. (Too high would be a problem also). I never tested the pressure before I got the RO system, so that was interesting. I am emptying and re-filling the tank once per month per recommendations.
-------------
I installed this system 3 days ago, and so far, I'm very happy with it. I added an alkaline filter since I wanted to add back some minerals (making it effectively an RCC7AK). As measured with a TDS meter, I am getting about an 80% to 85% reduction in TDS against the tap water. I did not do any comprehensive contaminant testing yet. iSpring advertises a 90% TDS reduction, but also notes on their FAQ that adding an alkaline filter will drive up the TDS a bit. Which is understandable.
I tested big name spring water, which yielded 22 PPM. They report "34-70". I tested the tap water which yielded 155 ppm. The municipal water company reports 239 average. Make of that what you will. But I'm happy with my results on the RO, and water tastes fine.
The installation was pretty smooth. A couple of notes: 1. The RO membrane housing cover was an absolute bear to get off. Even with the wrench. On the suggestion of iSpring I removed the housing completely and then I was able to get it off. 2. Tank: I only wrapped teflon about 5 turns on the tank threads, and got some leaking. I drained the tank, and re-wrapped the teflon using 15 turns. Problem solved. So when they say 15 turns, believe it.

Is the reverse osmosis system worth it?The Reverse Osmosis water filter can remove contaminants down to 0.0001 micron. This Reverse Osmosis water filter system removes up to 99% of over 1,000 contaminants, including vinyl chloride, chlorine, fluoride, lead (removes up to 98%), arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium and more. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Reverse Osmosis water systems have very high effectiveness in removing common chemical contaminants, virus (for example, Enteric, Hepatitis A, Norovirus, Rotavirus). How does Reverse Osmosis work?Reverse Osmosis is a process that reverses the water flow so that water can go from concentrated solution to the dilute solution by passing through a semi-permeable membrane. A Reverse Osmosis membrane has a pore size of approximately 0.0001 micron, which will remove up to 99% of the contaminants, including lead (removes up to 98%), fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, and more. How is reverse osmosis different from filtration?Filtration is a process in which particles from the water like dirt and sediment adhere to the surface or pores of the absorbent medium, typically polyester, polypropylene, Active Carbon, etc. But it cannot remove other contaminants like Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), including calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium, and others. The microfiltration filter has a pore size range from 0.05 to 5 microns. Reverse Osmosis is a water treatment process that reverses the flow of water by using pressure to push water through a partially permeable membrane to separate water molecules and unwanted contaminants. The Reverse Osmosis membrane typically has the pore size of approximately 0.0001 microns. How difficult is the installation? Can I install this RO system by myself or do I need a plumber?Yes, you just need a little basic plumbing knowledge. The RO water system is designed for do-it-yourself installation, and all necessary parts for installation are included. The default length of the 1/4'' tubing is 5 feet. If you need longer tubing, please do not hesitate to contact us at (678) 261-7611 M-F 9-5 EST or open a ticket here. 24/7. I bought this 5-stage Reverse Osmosis filtration system, and I want to add one alkaline filter, where can I find the box that can hold the alkaline filter to connect? You will need to buy ACL1 and FA15 (the alkaline filter). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (678) 261-7611 M-F 9-5 EST or open a ticket here. 24/7. Can the reverse osmosis water purifier be installed on a hard water line? The plumber says he would need to run a soft water line to the sink.As long as it is a cold water line only that is 3/8\" or 1/2\" that has a TDS of under 2,000 ppm, it will be okay. Does it come with two different sizes of cold water adapters or T adapters? The 1/2 inch feed water adapter doesn't fit my 3/4 inch connectors. We now supply a convertible feed water adapter that can be for 3/8\" and 1/2\". Does the 3.2 gallon storage tank need to be pressurized? No, the tank will be pressurized by this system since there is a blatter built-in. And it is pressurized at around 7-10 psi. Therefore, you don't need to pressurize it on your own. I need the modern chrome faucet instead of the brushed nickel, is that a possibility?Yes, it is possible.
