The booster pump addresses the problem of low water pressure at the source, bringing the pressure going into the membrane up to the ideal level. In doing so, the booster pump optimizes every aspect of the reverse osmosis process from production speed to drain ratio.
Our products are tested annually to remove up to 99.99% of harmful contaminants that commonly appear in municipal and well water. All filters, tanks, tubing and other water-contacting parts are manufactured to comply strictly with NSF/ANSI standard (58 for reverse osmosis).
All of our systems go through rigorous testing for air leaks, pressure and cycle resistance to maintain our own premium quality and high performance standards.
Precision Performance
The RCC7P is a pressure-boosted, multi-layered filter system that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, including arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, fluoride, lead, mercury, sodium, and more. Boosting the water pressure improves the performance of the Reverse Osmosis filter stage increasing water production speed and reducing waste water. This is essential when the home water pressure is low (below 40 PSI).
- 3 Pre-filters: PP sediment filter. Carbon KDF (GAC) filter. Carbon block (CTO) filter. They remove large contaminants and protect the RO membrane from chemicals like chlorine and chloramines.
- The heart of the system is the Reverse Osmosis (RO) filter that removes contaminants down to 0.0001 microns – so small that only water molecules can squeeze through but virtually nothing else.
- Fine GAC filter provides final polishing before the purified water is delivered to the faucet.
- The end result is bottled-water quality, with no hardness and no sodium.

The advantage of having both 5-micron GAC & CTO filters is that loose carbon (GAC, KDF) is better at trapping large contaminants, leaving only smaller ones to the CTO carbon block filter. This allows the CTO filter and RO membrane to function at their maximum efficiency and last longer.

Claudia from iSpring just sent me an email asking for a review, and I did not realize it has been 6 months since I installed this system. I have been very satisfied with my system, using anywhere from a half gallon to one gallon a day. It was very easy to install, and iSpring even swapped out the included faucet for one that matched my kitchen faucet better.
I do recommend making a mark on the lines at the proper seating depth, so you know you have pushed them all the way into the fittings and fully seated it.
I have been periodically testing my water with a Total Dissolved Solids meter (also purchased on Amazon) at both my normal faucet and this RO faucet. I am on a private with, with a whole-house iron filter and water softener. My kitchen faucet reads between 195-205ppm on any day, and the RO faucet will come in at 4-6ppm.
Family and friends all ask if I really have well water. The RO water is odor free and tasteless. Just cold and refreshing.
The booster pump is pretty quiet, I can notice it, but no one else has ever noticed it.
I'm looking forward to many gallons of excellent drinking water from my system!
