Ultraviolet water purifier

Philips UV lamp are double-ended UVC (germicidal) lamps that offers almost constant UV output over their complete lifetime.

UV water filtration system

Water resistant 304 Stainless steel housing with standard universal connection size. Compatible with most RO systems as an add on stage. Smart flow sensor turns the UV light on when you need it, off when you don't.

Installation Instruction

Step 1

Plug both ends of the Philips lamp into the power sockets of the green wires.
Step 2

Insert the Philips lamp into the pre-installed quartz sleeve and attach the black rubber cap to the end.

Step 3

Snap the housing onto the clips.
Step 4

Connect the inlet/outlet to the designed water pipes and fill with water to test for leaks.

UV Water Filter UVF11A Product Description

The UVF11A UV Water Filter is a complete add-on kit that can be added to most RO systems as a final stage. Combining a Reverse Osmosis filtration system with UV Filter provides the most complete method of water filtration available.

The UVF11A features an 11 watt UV lamp shielded in a stainless steel housing versus the 6 watt lamp commonly found in other products. A flow sensor switch turns the UV unit on and off automatically with water flow, saving power and lengthening the life of the UV lamp.

So far, the unit looks very well built. The instructions are minimal; however, theres a good chance it will work, in spite of the lack of instructions. Some of the important things are mentioned like where the input and output ought to be, depending on how its mounted. The flow monitor switch is a nice feature, but no instructions as where that ought to go .. probably work fine on input or output .. there is an arrow which either means flow direction or "up" There may be a magnetic switch in it, so orientation might be an issue.. in any case.. nothing is said about it. Im giving it 5 stars because its very well made. The 1/4" connectors do require proper tubing.. and the secret to a good, "leak proof" connection is TOTAL insertion .. (be sure to remove the blue clip first, then replace it after fully inserting the tubing) problem is you must pay attention to inserting past the o-ring inside ... if you dont do it right.. youll know when you turn on the water .. :-) By the way... its very easy to remove the tubing (too bad they dont tell you how .. but, thats the way things are done now) You remove the blue clip, push in on the flange (not the tubing), and while holding the flange in, pull out the tubing
